Ginger Tea
The tea that warms and heals: fresh ginger steeped for 5 to 8 minutes, sweetened with honey — simple, bold, and unbeatable against the common cold.
Ingredients
- 1 piece fresh ginger (~5 cm)
- 1 l water
- honey or sugar (to taste)
Method
- Peel the fresh ginger and cut it into thin slices. The more slices, the stronger the tea — and if you like it bold, you can even grate it.
- Pour boiling water over the ginger.
- Leave to steep for 5 to 8 minutes.
- Sweeten to taste with honey or sugar.
🌿 Did you know?
Ginger (gingerol, vitamin C, magnesium, iron, calcium) is winter’s best friend: it boosts blood circulation, strengthens the immune system and clears congested airways. Anti-inflammatory and analgesic, it also soothes headaches, aching muscles and irritated mucous membranes, brings down fever — and even fires up the metabolism.
